Susan Cutter (U.S.A.), Cesar Haddad (Lebanon), Marlène Beijevelt (The Netherlands), Miguel Escobar (U.S.A.), Sukesh Nair (India) and Annette von Drygalski (U.S.A.) presented practical information on bleeding disorders, including self-advocacy, treatment adherence, recommendations for playing sports, and the transition process to adulthood in adolescents with bleeding disorders. Other topics will include information on hemophilia B (factor IX deficiency), assays and reagents, and what is considered a bleed (or not) in the era of prophylaxis and new treatments.
