Cedric Hermans (WFH Medical board member), Gianluigi Pasta (WFH MSK Committee chair), Sukesh Nair (Professor of laboratory haematology), Margareth Ozelo (Director of the Haematology Division, UNICAMP), Radoslaw Kaczmarek (WFH Coagulation Product Safety, Supply, and Access Committee chair) and John Pasi (Professor of Haemostasis and Thrombosis) presented practical information on bleeding disorders, such as what to cover in a 20-minute consult with a person with hemophilia (from both a clinical and musculoskeletal points of view), current lab issues and challenges, chromogenic assays, how bleeding disorder products are made, and what’s new with rebalancing agents.
