Speakers will include Dawn Rotellini (U.S.A), Jameela Sathar, MD (Malaysia); Mei Lin Hoo, MD (Malaysia); Paula James, MD (Canada); Roshni Kulkarni, MD (U.S.A); Lauren Phillips (New Zealand); Anupama Pattiyeri (India) and Cassie Osejo (Panama).<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"direction: ltr;\">Dawn Rotellini (WFH Board Member and WGBD Committee Chair), Jameela Sathar, MD (WFH VWD &amp; RBD Committee), Mei Lin Hoo, MD (President, Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Malaysia), Paula James, MD (WFH VWD &amp; RBD Committee), Roshni Kulkarni, MD (WFH WGBD Committee), Cassie Osejo (WFH VWD Global Group), Lauren Phillips (WFH WGBD Committee), Anupama Pattiyeri (WFH WGBD Committee) and Jo Yi Chow (Bulan Sisters) presented how to prepare teenagers for menstruation, what is normal versus abnormal bleeding, what tools are available and where to seek help, and the importance of collaboration between gynecologists and hematologists as well as a panel discussion on period poverty and its impact on quality of life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"direction: ltr;\">This WFH webinar was originally presented in English.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-danger\" style=\"color: #333333!important; border-color: #fedede; background-color: #fdeaea; padding: 1em 1em 1em 4em; position: relative;\">\n<div style=\"bottom: 0; left: 0; position: absolute; top: 0; width: 4em; color: #ff7877;\">\n<p class=\"fa fa-info-circle\" style=\"left: 50%; top: 50%; position: absolute; transform: translate(-50%, -50%); font-size: 1.7em;\">\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"direction: ltr;\">The WFH does not engage in the practice of medicine and under no circumstances recommends particular treatment for specific individuals. For diagnosis or consultation on a specific medical problem, the WFH recommends that you contact your physician or local treatment centre.
